ANGEL DI MARIA SET TO JOIN LIONEL MESSI AT INTER MIAMI
According to the Portuguese daily A Bola, Argentine winger, Angel Di Maria is preparing to depart SL Benfica this summer.
The 36-year-old is set to join Inter Miami, where he will reunite with longtime teammate Lionel Messi.
Di María has outlined a detailed plan for his future, according to reports.
The Argentine is billed to first return to his original Argentine club, Rosario Central, to play the final six months of 2024.
In 2025, he will move to Inter Miami, concluding his illustrious career alongside Messi.
The move to Miami will see Di María’s family relocate from Lisbon this summer, with the player joining them at the beginning of next year.
Di Maria aims to make the 2025 Major League Soccer season his last in professional football.
Inter Miami has become a powerhouse in MLS over the past year, thanks to high-profile signings like Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba.
These additions have propelled the team to the top of the Eastern Conference and the overall rankings in 2024.
