NLC STRIKE: FLIGHTS DISRUPTED AS ABUJA AIRPORT SHUT DOWN (PHOTOS)
The ongoing labour strike has led to disruption of commercial operations at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, leaving passengers stranded on Monday morning.
The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC declared a nationwide industrial action, following the federal government’s failure to meet the demands of Organized Labour on minimum wage.
According to reports, the passengers were left confused and unable to reach the domestic terminal as major entry and exit points had been blocked.
Also, it was reported that no flight had taken off, and this would remain so until the NLC lifted the strike action.
The airport is currently becoming too crowded as more passengers, in their numbers, are arriving at Abuja airport to catch up with their flights.
