AJIBADE NAMED ATLETICO MADRID WOMEN’S PLAYER OF THE SEASON
Rasheedat Ajibade has been named Atletico Madrid women’s Player of the Season for 2023/24.
Atletico Madrid announced Ajibade as the Player of the Season on their X handle on Wednesday.
Ajibade scored 10 goals and provided eight assists for Atletico Madrid in the just concluded campaign.
She scored the decisive goal in the 1-0 win against Villarreal on the final day, which secured qualification for next season’s UEFA women’s Champions League. preliminary round.
Ajibade is expected to feature for the Super Falcons at this year’s Paris Olympic games.
