Former Super Eagles forward, Peter Odemwingie has graduated from golf school.

The former Bendel Insurance player turned to golf after quitting football six years ago.

Odemwingie graduated as a PGA member in May.

“I’m proud because I challenged myself not only to apply effort in a sport but also academically,” he told the PGA official website.

“I hope my story motivates people to follow suit, whether that’s through The PGA or any other form of studies.”

The 42-year-old made 65 appearances for the Super Eagles.

Odemwingie represented Nigeria at two FIFA World Cups and won an Olympic medal in 2008.

He scored over 30 Premier League goals for West Bromwich Albion and also represented Cardiff City and Stoke City.
