BAYERN MUNICH REACH AGREEMENT WITH FULHAM OVER PALHINHA DEAL
Bayern Munich have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Joao Palhinha from Fulham.
According to Sky Sports, the Bavaria giants have agreed a fee worth up to £48 million with Fulham for the Portugal international.
Palhinha will cost Bayern an initial £43.2 million, plus a further £4.2 million in add-ons.
The fee will be a club record for Fulham.
According to the report, Palhinha will commit to a four-year contract at the Allianz Arena.
A medical examination won’t be conducted until after Portugal’s 2024 European Championship campaign is over.

Portugal will take on France in the quarter-finals of the European Championship in Hamburg on Friday.
Palhinha left Sporting Lisbon in 2022 to sign with Fulham.
He was on the verge of joining Bayern last summer, but the deal fell through on transfer deadline day when Fulham were unable to find a replacement in time.
Though the Portuguese midfielder was granted permission by Fulham to travel to Germany for a medical.
Barcelona and Manchester United were also interested, but Bayern maintained their interest and had another offer turned down earlier this summer.
Last July, Fulham declined a £45 million approach from West Ham for the 28-year-old.
Palhinha made 39 appearances for Fulham in the 2023/24 season of which 33 came in the Premier League.
He scored four goals including an equalizer for the Cottagers in a 2-2 draw against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
