FLOOD: 61-YEAR-OLD MAN ELECTROCUTED IN LAGOS

The Police Command in Lagos State stated that a yet-to-be-identified 61-year-old man has lost his life after being electrocuted during the flood incident.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, a police spokesperson, posted a confirmation of the deceased on his X handle on Thursday.
He added that the event took place in the state’s Orile-Iganmu region on Wednesday amid the downpour.

āDuring the rain yesterday in Orile-Iganmu, a 61-year-old man, while wading through the floods, held on to a street light pole and sadly got electrocuted,ā the spokesperson said.
