
PARIS 2024: D’TIGRESS TO PLAY THREE FRIENDLY MATCHES AHEAD OF OLYMPICS
The Nigeria’s senior women’s basketball team, D’Tigress, will play three friendly matches in preparation for the Paris 2024 Olympics scheduled to take place from July 26 to August 11, Completesports.com reports.
D’Tigress recently traveled to start their pre-Olympic training camp in Saarbrucken, Germany.
Making of Champions, wrote in its X (formerly Twitter) post that D’Tigress will face Germany on July 19th and Serbia in the next three days to test their abilities ahead of the international multi-sports showpiece.
It further stressed that the reigning Afrobasket champion would end their camping phase with a friendly game against Japan on July 24.
“Nigeria will play three friendly games, playing the first one against Germany on July 19th, then Serbia (21st) and finishing off the camping phase with their last friendly game against Japan on the 24th,” the post reads.
