ROBERTO FIRMINO BECOMES PASTOR IN HOMETOWN
Roberto Firmino, a former Liverpool striker, has become a pastor.
The footballer made the announcement in a recent post shared on his Instagram page.
In a now viral post on the internet, Firmino, who was captured alongside his wife, said his ordination ceremony took place in his hometown of Maceio, last Sunday.
While embracing his new calling as an evangelical pastor, the 32-year-old revealed that the development emerged from his encounter with Christ.
He wrote; “Since our encounter with Christ, a longing burns in our hearts that people may know this love that has reached us.
“Here is another responsibility to be pastors according to the heart of God and to also cooperate with the Kingdom.”
