EDUCATION: EDO GOVT APPROVES CONSTITUTION OF GOVERNING COUNCIL FOR AAU
The Ambrose Alli University (AAU) Governing Council’s constitution has been ratified by the Edo State Government in Ekpoma.
Dr. Omo-Ehijele Odafen will serve as the council’s chairman, according to a statement signed by Osarodion Ogie, Secretary to the State Government. The council will consist of seven members.
The statement reads; “The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki has approved the constitution of the Governing Council of the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.
“The council which is made up of seven members is to be chaired by Dr. Omo-Ehijele Frank Odafen.”
Ogie noted, “The members of the council include: Dr. Omo-Ehijele Frank Odafen, Chairman; Mrs. Patience West Erhabor, member; Tony Innih Esq., member; Prof. Anthony Ekata Ogbeibu, member; Prof. Sunday Ojeifo, member; Prof. Kokunre Agbontaen-Eghafona, member and Clifford Imade Omozeghian Esq., member.
“The official inauguration of the Council will be announced shortly.”
