The Federal Government’s plans to establish a Presidential Initiative on Youth Enterprise Clusters, estimated to cost N110 billion, have been revealed by Vice President Kashim Shettima.

He made this statement on Thursday during a celebration hosted at the State House Abuja’s Banquet Hall to honor 2024 World Population Day.

President Bola Tinubu, according to Senator Shettima, is fervent about making sure that women and young people are included in the administration.

He asserts that the Youth Investment Fund, which the Federal Executive Council approved during one of its meetings and which also allotted N100 billion, is not the same as the Presidential Initiative in Youth Enterprise Clusters.

The Vice President underlined how crucial data is to population development and planning.

Speaking at the occasion, Jemila Ibrahim, the Minister of Youth Development, reaffirmed the Federal Government’s determination to create a national youth development bank in an effort to give young Nigerians more access to financing.

Additionally, she stated that the program will encourage youth entrepreneurship, emphasizing that the ministry’s role is to provide the conditions and opportunities necessary for youngsters to thrive.
