MMA SUPERSTAR NGANNOU APPOINTED PFL AFRICA CHAIRMAN
The Professional Fighters League (PFL) has appointed Mixed Martial Art (MMA) superstar Francis Ngannou as the chairman of its newly secured franchise in Africa.
The MMA can now commence its league on the continent.
The PFL Chief Executive Officer, Peter Murray made the announcement during the launch of the league in Lagos on Wednesday.
Murray stated that league would help develop the sport in Africa.
He stressed that the presence of PFL Africa would strengthen the sport through organising and engaging sport-season format with a regular season, playoffs, and championship featuring top African fighters with all events, billed to be hosted in Africa in 2025.
