SUPER FALCONS’ ECHEGINI JOINS PSG FROM JUVENTUS ON THREE YEAR DEAL
Jennifer Echegini has joined French D1 Arkema side Paris Saint-Germain.
Echegini put pen to paper on a three-year contract with PSG.
The 23-year-old announced her departure from Italian club Juventus on Tuesday.
The Nigeria international spent six months at Juventus.
The midfielder scored 10 goals and provided one assist in 16 appearances for the Bianconeri last season.
Echegini was also named the best U-23 player in the Italian top-flight.
The former Florida State Seminoles player stated that she is looking forward to making a big impact at her new club.
“I am experiencing a great moment in my career today. Signing for Paris Saint-Germain is a huge source of pride. I am very proud to join a club that is recognized around the world for its ambition and excellence,” Echegini told the club’s official website.
” I can’t wait to get started and I can’t wait to give the best of myself to try to win, with my teammates and for the supporters, as many trophies as possible. ”
