
RANGERS RECEIVE CASH REWARD FOR WINNING NPFL TITLE
Rangers have been rewarded with N50m by the Enugu State Government for winning the Nigeria Premier Football League title.
The Flying Antelopes won the NPFL title for the eighth time in the 2023/24 season.
Fidelis Ilechukwu’s side recorded 70 points from 38 matches.
Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah made the donation during a dinner organized for players and officials of the team.
Mbah tasked the team to fight for more laurels next season.
Rangers will begin the new season with a CAF Champions League preliminary round encounter against Comoros club, Zilimadjou FC.
The two-legged encounter will be played next month.
