GOV. KEFAS APPOINTS 1,270 EXECUTIVE AIDES
Agbu Kefas, the governor of Taraba State, has named 1,270 executive assistants.
Between Monday, July 15, and Tuesday, July 16, 2024, 1,075 people were appointed in a 24-hour period.
The appointees will hold positions as special advisers, senior special assistants, special assistants, constituency special assistants, or members of boards, commissions, and agencies of the Taraba administration, according to a news release released by the Secretary to the State Administration, Gebon Kataps.
The state administration made 573 names available as of Monday, and then on Tuesday night, it made 502 names available.
The amount is an addition to the 195 that the state government had previously authorized. Portfolios have not yet been granted to the appointments.
However, this appointment comes in addition to the five others who were given ministries in his cabinet upon taking office.
The state administration claims that the appointments will be made in four phases; therefore, the final group of appointees is anticipated.
