ENYEAMA’S SON SIGNS FIRST PROFESSIONAL CONTRACT AT LILLE
Former Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has celebrated his son’s promotion to Lille’s U-18 squad.
Enyeama took to his Facebook page to felicitate with the youngster.
“God is the greatest. Home sweet home. Back home in a different skin #losc #prouddaddy #younggoalie #youngcoach #newadventure @losclive,” he wrote.
The 41-year-old spent seven years at Lille following his arrival from Israeli side, Hapoel Tel Aviv in 2011.
The former Enyimba shot stopper made 143 league appearances for the former Ligue 1 champions.
On the international scene, Enyeama represented Nigeria 101 times, playing at two FIFA World Cups.
He was a member of the Super Eagles side that won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.
His son would be hoping to emulate him by playing for Lille’s first team and Nigeria.
