EX-SPORTING LAGOS GOALKEEPER, NWOKE SET TO COMPLETE ENYIMBA MOVE
Christian Nwoke is on the verge of joining Nigeria’s Premier Football League side, Enyimba.
Nwoke has been identified as a replacement for the departed first-choice goalkeeper Ojo Olorunleke.
The goaltender, who was spotted in the People’s Elephant training camp, has reportedly held talks with Enyimba’s management.
The dependable shot-stopper left Sporting Lagos after the club’s relegation to the Nigeria National League last season.
Nwoke kept eight clean sheets for the modest club.
He is expected to sign a contract with Enyimba before the start of the new season.
