
LAGOS HOLDS PLACEMENT TEST FOR OUTGOING PRIMARY SIX PUPILS
Jamiu Tolani Alli-Balogun today monitored the 2024 placement test for primary six pupils transiting to Junior Secondary school in Lagos State.
The examination was held at over 400 locations accross Lagos State and presence of a total population of 204,413 pupils was felt in all the schools where the examination was conducted.
The Commissioner monitored the examination at Ajeromi Ifelodun, Ebute-Metta and Ikeja areas of Lagos State.
The Commissioner seized the opportunity to reiterate the benefits of enrolling pupils in Lagos State Public schools to interested parents “Aside the fact that public schools in Lagos State are free, the State boast of the best qualified teachers in the country and pick the bills for both BECE and WAEC examinations for terminal classes students in all junior and Senior Secondary Schools”.
Mr Alli-Balogun also stated that students of Lagos State public schools are noted for winning medals for the State and the country in national and international competitions.
He further stated that the administration of Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has done a lot to improve infrastructure, teachers and students welfare, hence, the turn around in the quality of teaching and learning witnessed in Lagos State in the last 5 years.
The placement test for primary six pupils in public and private schools who, desire to enrol in public schools accross the State, was conducted by the Lagos State Examinations Board.
