IPSWICH, NOTTINGHAM FOREST BATTLE FOR IHEANACHO
Nottingham Forest and Ipswich Town are interested in Super Eagles forward, Kelechi Iheanacho.
Iheanacho is a free agent after leaving Leicester City following the expiration of his contract.
According to Football Insider, Forest and Premier League new boys Ipswich Town have registered interest in the Nigeria international.
The forward has offers on the table from clubs in Turkey and Greece but Forest and Ipswich are determined to convince him to stay in England.
The clubs are now set to make formal contract proposals to the striker in the hope of winning the race for his signature.
Iheanacho spent seven years at Leicester after joining from Manchester City in 2017, making 232 appearances and scoring 61 goals for the club.
His time in the Premier League overall saw him find the net 30 times across six seasons with the Foxes.
He started just 12 games for Leicester City in the Sky Bet Championship last season.
