PRESEASON: CELTIC CLAIM SHOCK 4-3 WIN OVER MAN CITY
Manchester City began their pre-season tour of the US with a shock 4-3 defeat to Celtic.
Although City started the game with big names like Erling Haaland and Jack Grealish, they could not overpower the Scottish champions.
Celtic took the lead with a well-worked team goal scored by Nicolas-Gerrit Kuhn.
Oscar Bobb made it 1-1 before Brendan Rodgers’ men scored twice towards the end of the first half through Kuhn and Kyogo Furuhashi to take a 3-1 lead into half-time.
Máximo Perrone pulled a goal back for City just seconds into the second half, before Haaland got a third.
But substitute Luis Palma ensured Celtic won by scoring the seventh goal of the game.
