JIDE KOSOKO PRAISES TINUBU SAYS, “HE IS DOING WELL”
Veteran actor Jide Kosoko has expressed satisfaction with his decision to vote for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stating that he “does not regret” his choice.
Kosoko lauded Tinubu’s work in a recent interview on “Curiosity Made Me Ask” with Bae U Barbie, stating that he is “doing very well” in spite of the difficulties in repairing a damaged economy.
Kosoko stressed that it will take time and effort to rebuild the economy.
Citing their long-standing connection and Tinubu’s efforts to nation-building, he reaffirmed his support for Tinubu.
Kosoko emphasised Tinubu’s contribution to the Nigerian democratic movement, saying that his name must be included among those who battled to establish the country’s current democratic system.
Despite the difficulties, he voiced faith in Tinubu’s leadership and said he is making progress.
The host asked: “People that voted for Tinubu do you think they should be bullied?”
Kosoko replied: “That is their own business. Their own cup of tea. I am entitled to my opinion. I love the man I voted for. And I know he is doing well.
“He is doing well. If only you know how repairing things are, you will understand that he is doing very well.”
“I voted for him because I have known him for a long time. And I have seen quite a lot of his contributions to nation building.
“You cannot even talk about this present democracy that we are all enjoying without saying Tinubu’s name among the people that struggled for us to have it.”
