
PARIS 2024: OFILI REFLECTS ON WOMEN’S 200m SEMI-FINAL FEAT
Favour Ofili has reflected on her impressive performance in the women’s 200m at the ongoing 2024 Olympic Games.
Ofili won her heat in blistering fashion, coasting home in a time of 22.24s.
The 21-year-old couldn’t compete in the women’s 100m after she was not registered by officials of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) and Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC).
The Delta-State-born athlete said she was determined to showcase her talents at the games.

“Despite the setbacks, I was determined to shine. Mental preparation was key. Regardless of what happened, I was determined to be ready,” Ofili was quoted by making of champions.
“When I step on the track, I aim to cross the line before anyone else. We are all Olympians, and I treat every competitor the same,” she added.
