Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, has charged D’Tigress to aim for the podium at the ongoing Paris Olympic women’s basketball.

Abbas made this known on the backdrop of Nigeria’s impressive display after D’Tigress defeated Canada 79-70 to qualify for the quarter-finals of the event.

The team also became the first African country to qualify for the quarterfinals at the Olympics.

Recall that D’Tigress will battle the US women’s basketball team for a place in the semi-finals.
