Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca believes the arrival of Pedro Neto will offer the team options on the field of play.
Neto was formally introduced to the Stamford Bridge crowd during their 1-1 draw with Inter Milan in a pre-season game on Sunday.
The Portugal winger joins from Wolves for an initial £51.4m fee and a further £2.6m (€3m) in add-ons.
In a chat withthe club’s website,Maresca stated that he’s excited to have Pedro in his squad.
“I’m very excited, he can offer many things.
“He can play on the right side, he can play on the left side, he’s very good one-on-one. It is one more option we have because there will be many, many games in the season, so we need a big squad.”
