
LAHA HEALTH COMMITTEE ON WORKING VISITS TO RANDLE, FEMI GBAJABIAMILA GENERAL HOSPITALS
The Lagos State House Committee on Health has visited the Randle General Hospital, Surulere and Femi Gbajabiamila General Hospital, Iyun, conducting a full inspection of the hospital’s facility.
According to the Chairman, Lagos State House Committee on Health, Hon. Musibau Aina the hospital visitation and inspection were part of their oversight functions, especially as regards the enhancement of Healthcare Services in the State.
The Chairman commended the two hospitals and their personnel for being fully committed to delivering excellent healthcare services to the people of Lagos, especially the Surulere Community.
Some of the hospitals’ health management committee members were also in attendance to receive the visiting House Committee members, taking them around the facility as they carried out their oversight functions.
Earlier, the team was received by the Deputy Medical Director, Dr. Abosede Adabale, a Consultant and Head of Haematology Department, who stood in for the Medical Director, Dr. Olumide Sojinrin, currently on annual leave.
After the inspection, questions concerning challenges and impediments in the line of duty were asked, towards proffering necessary solutions that will help in raising the bar in terms of excellent performance and better health care delivery in the state.
The visiting Assembly Members include Hon. Jubril Abdulkaeem, Hon. Ogunleye Gbolahan, Mr. Omotayo Ahmed (Secretary) and members of the Secretariat.
