JUST IN: KEEP SCORING, I’LL SHUT UP, MIKEL OBI REPLIES JACKSON
Mikel Obi, a former Chelsea and Nigerian international, has issued a scathing reaction to Chelsea striker Nicholas Jackson, saying, “Keep scoring and I’ll shut up.”
The declaration comes after recent tensions between the two, and Obi’s strong statement is certain to feed existing disputes.
Obi discussed this on his Monday podcast, The Obi One.
It was previously reported that Mikel, 37, aspired after Jackson’s goal-scoring prowess on beIN Sport during Chelsea’s 2-0 loss to Manchester City last weekend.
He had partly said, “We created chances, we haven’t taken them. And just an example of how Jackson finishes.”
Meanwhile, the Senegalese striker, in response to that, responded in an Instagram post.
“Mikel Obi, shut your mouth, don’t talk sh*t, we are killing ourselves for Africa,” Jackson wrote in a post on Instagram, making his feelings about the criticism clear.
