SUPER EAGLES: MBA CALLS FOR SUPPORT FOR LABBADIA
Former Super Eagles midfielder, Sunday Mba has shared his thoughts on the new handler of the team, Bruno Labbadia.
Labbadia’s appointment has come under scrutiny, with many questioning Nigeria Football Federation’s (NFF) decision to give him the job.
The 58-year-old will be working in Africa for the first time.
The former Bayern Munich striker will also be handling a national team for the first time.
Mba however said it is important to give the new head time and support.
“I can’t say it’s a bad idea because I think we are all working together for the betterment of our national team, and to restore us to our golden days,” the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner told Brila FM.
“Now let’s see what different things this new coach can bring us.”
