TG OMORI UPDATE FANS ON HIS RECOVERY FROM FAILED KIDNEY TRANSPLANT
ThankGod Omori, also referred to as TG Omori, is an award-winning cinematographer and music producer. He said on Friday that he has been recovering from the stitches from his unsuccessful kidney transplant.
He stated that he is improving and will keep fighting even though he is unable to give God a backflip in thanksgiving.
He acknowledged the love he has received from his followers and said he was excited to get back on his feet and make new music videos to please his fans.
“Up and grateful, O Lord,” Omori wrote in a post on his X account on Friday. (I regrettably cannot backflip.) I appreciate all of the kind words and prayers.
“I’m healing now from the stitches of the failed one, I’ll continue the fight. I’ve been on it for the past year or two, and I can’t back down now.
“Love you all so much. Can’t wait to create new, crowded music videos for you all.”
As previously reported, the music producer underwent a failed kidney transplant following his brother’s kidney donation, which helped him recover from a renal disease.
This was disclosed by Omori on Wednesday, not long after he requested Nigerians to pray for him and disclosed that he was going through a trying moment.
He wrote, “One year after my kidney failed, I just had a failed transplant at St Nicolas Hospital Lagos. Pray for me.”
The cinematographer also noted that he had been in the theatre three times already and that he was not destined to die yet.
TG Omori also recounted how his brother donated his kidney to him to help him survive the kidney-related ailment.
Omori shared this on Wednesday when he posted a picture of himself in a hospital bed on his Instagram account.
According to him, his only brother donated one of his kidneys to give him another chance at life.
He wrote, “Yesterday, my only brother gave me one of his kidneys so I could live again.
“Keep my spirit alive. I don’t want to die.”
