
BREAKING: 10 ABDUCTED ALONG BONNY-PORT HARCOURT WATERWAY
On Monday, a total of ten people were abducted along the Bonny-Port Harcourt canal.
The Chairman of the Rivers Maritime Union Workers verified this.
Confirming the incident via telephone, the district Chairman, MARITIME Workers Union of Nigeria Rivers State district, Israel Pepple said “It’s not a rumour, it is real. 10 persons have been kidnapped this morning coming from Bonny to Port Harcourt. We’ve reported to the security agencies”.
When contacted, the police public relations officer told our correspondent that they were aware that 10 people had been kidnapped, but that the Commissioner of Police, Olatunji Disu had mandated the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations, DCP Olugbenga Adepoju and the DPOs in that area to make sure the victims regain their freedom as soon as possible.
