
POLICE CONFIRM ABDUCTION OF AKIKA, MAKINDE’S ALLY IN IBADAN
The Oyo Police Command has confirmed the abduction of Benedict Akika, a supporter of Governor Seyi Makinde.
Akika, a People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader in Oyo State, was allegedly kidnapped on Wednesday evening at his Olorunda Aba home in Lagelu Local Government Area.
Akika’s location was unknown at the time of this publication.

Adewale Osifeso, the Oyo Police spokesman, confirmed the kidnapping and stated that an inquiry has begun into the incident.
According to her: “Investigation has commenced into the matter. Updates will be provided accordingly, please.”
