The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) has reported that a road accident at Oyeagu Market, Abagana in Njikoka local government area of Anambra State resulted in the death of one female child and injuries to six others.
According to Margaret Onabe, Acting Sector Public Education Officer of the Anambra State Command of FRSC, the accident involved a Sienna bus with registration number NEN 588 YX, belonging to the Transport Company of Anambra State (TRACAS), driven by Eze Uchechukwu. The probable cause of the crash was brake failure, which caused the vehicle to ram into the market.
