
PREPARE TO PROTECT YOUR COUNTRY:CAS CHARGES NDA CADETS
The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Cadets have been given a mission by , to prepare them for the high standards of the Nigerian Armed Forces by preparing them to contribute to the solution of modern security concerns.
Furthermore, he exhorted the Cadets to be resolute in their desire to change the game by mastering the innovations and weapons that are revolutionizing modern warfare in addition to their bravery in combat.
At the NDA 2024 “Beating of the Retreat” and Prize Giving Ceremony, which took place on Thursday, September 18, at the NDA Parade Ground, Afaka, Air Marshal Abubakar issued the Cadets this command.
In addition, the CAS reminded the graduating cadets of the 71 Regular Course and the Direct Short Service Courses of the 28 Army and the 32 Air Force that a significant amount of money had been spent on developing their character and enhancing their capacity through superior military instruction and a strong academic foundation.

“As you prepare to be commissioned as officers, remember that the hopes and aspirations of our country rest on your shoulders.
“Therefore, it is time to ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country”, the CAS said.
In addition, he urged the Cadets to constantly prioritize the country while doing their utmost to defend its territorial integrity and safeguard the populace. He also emphasized to them the value of honesty, loyalty, and bravery in their service to the country.
