
BIOLA ADEBAYO: I WAS ONCE ASKED TO BLEACH MY SKIN FOR A ROLE
Famous actress Biola Adebayo talked candidly about the difficulties she had when starting out in her career In a recent interview with “Nollywood on Radio,”.
Adebayo revealed that she turned down acting gigs as a result of her refusal to date some powerful figures in the business.
She also remembered being pressured to lighten her skin, with someone suggesting she “tone it up a little” to advance her career.
Adebayo also talked about her podcast, “Talk To B,” which she launched because of her natural interpersonal abilities to connect with people.
She explained: “For some reason, people are drawn to me and trust me with their secrets—even those I am not close to. I began to think about how I could impact people’s lives beyond just presenting and decided to create a platform where I could connect with and support ordinary people.”
Her podcast has had a huge influence and has quickly changed the lives of many people.
Adebayo disclosed that more than N10 million has been raised for a number of purposes, including more than 35 million naira for those in need of lodging.
The podcast has also aided those in need of treatment or counseling, given immediate aid, and assisted those going through marital difficulties.
Adebayo emphasized: “Talk To B” has become into a ray of hope for people who have nowhere else to turn, particularly abuse victims and people going through the most trying times in life.
