SENATOR JONATHAN ZWINGINA PASSES AWAY AT 70
Jonathan Zwingina, the former majority leader of the Senate, has passed away.
In addition, Zwingina served as the MKO Abiola campaign organization’s previous director general during the June 12, 1993, presidential election.
He was born in Adamawa State, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, at the age of 70, in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, even though his family has not yet officially confirmed his passing.
It was stated that he passed away following a lengthy illness. In the Senate, the former legislator represented the Adamawa South Senatorial District.
He joined the Peoples Democratic Party at its inception but eventually defected to the All Progressives Congress.
