‘ALAGA IBILE’ ALBUM TRANSFORMED MY CAREER – REMINISCE
Reminisce, a well-known rapper, discussed his journey to widespread recognition on the podcast “I Said What I Said.”
According to Reminisce, his first album, “My Book of Rap Stories,” wasn’t very successful.
But his follow-up album, “Alaga Ibile,” changed everything by selling over 13 million copies in the Alaba market, which at the time was Nigeria’s most important music distribution outlet.
“The second album that really broke was ‘Alaga Ibile’. It did like 13 million units in Alaba and that was the moment my life really changed,” Reminisce recalled.
The album boasted hit records like “Daddy Mi” featuring Davido and “Eleniyan” featuring Wizkid.
