Bribing will not be permitted, according to Maagaji, who issued the warning on Tuesday upon taking office in Katsina. Any staff members proven to have engaged in bribing will be fired.
He also exhorted the staff to support the Corp Marshal policy initiative by doing everything in their power to improve the corp’s reputation.
In an effort to raise awareness and foster cooperation throughout the state, he said that preparations were being made to launch a monthly stakeholders’ meeting.
The press representatives who were present to greet him and the state administration were thanked by the sector commander.
He urged the personnel to double their dedication to their profession while promising to collaborate with them all to ensure safe driving and road safety throughout the state.
In addition, Maaji urged drivers and other interested parties to keep supporting the commission so that it can effectively carry out its mandate of lowering traffic and road accident rates.
