FEMALE STUDENT FATALLY STABS COLLEAGUE IN ONDO
In Ondo, a female student fatally stabs a colleague
Habib Salau, a student at Akoko Anglican Grammar School, Arigidi, in the Akoko North West region of Ondo state, is said to have been fatally stabbed by a female student.
It has been said that after a fight, Habid was stabbed by a female student named Sandra.
An eyewitness told newsmen in Akure, the state capital, that the duo engaged in a scuffle after school hours.
The source added that ” it was during the fight that the suspect stabbed the deceased with a knife.
According to him, “the body of the deceased has been deposited at the Specialist Hospital, mortuary, in Ikare.
Attempts to get a response on the student’s death from the school principal were unsuccessful.

However, a teacher who talked to reporters called the occurrence unfortunate.
He claimed that the event had brought terror to the institution.
Reports state that students have been meeting in groups to talk about the tragic event.
When contacted, Funmi Odunlami, the spokesperson for the state police, verified the unpleasant incident and stated that the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has been tasked with conducting a comprehensive investigation.
Odunlami stated that the circumstances behind the student’s death would be uncovered by the police probe.
