INI EDO SNUBS CHICHI NWORAH AT PUBLIC EVENT
The conflict between movie producer ChiChi Nworah and famous actress Ini Edo is far from resolved.
The pair avoided each other like pests when they were seen together on Wednesday, October 9, at a function in Lagos.
Because Nworah was a key participant in the event, she arrived at the location earlier and made herself comfortable alongside her other coworkers.
A few minutes into the event, Ini and ChiChi were scheduled to participate in a panel discussion.
However, just as ChiChi and other colleagues, including Binta Ayo Mogaji, Lilian Esoro, and Caroline Hutchings, were getting settled, the event host announced Ini’s arrival. Relevant News
Ini walked graciously, spotting a short red gown, across the venue to the podium where her colleagues including ChiChi were seated.
The “Shanty Town” actress avoided ChiChi, who was sat next to them, and instead made small talk and gave Caroline Hutchings a quick hug before moving on to her seat.
Few people in attendance observed that Ini Edo avoided ChiChi, and the producer of the movie didn’t appear shocked or eager to greet Ini. The former buddies got into a fight over the rights to the popular Netflix original series “Shanty Town.” The Nigerian Copyright Commission ended the legal dispute between the two by declaring ChiChi and her firm to be the exclusive owners of the rights to the limited series, which is slated for a sequel.
The two had since engaged in a legal struggle, with their attorneys exchanging letters.
