MY DAUGHTER’S HUSBAND WAS NOT SNATCHED BY BIODUN OKEOWO – LOLA IDIJE
Veteran actress Lola Idije has finally responded to reports that her younger coworker Biodun Okeowo stole her daughter’s husband.
In an Instagram post, Lola clarified that Biodun did not kidnap her daughter’s lover.
She remembered that if the reports were true, she would not have been able to attend Biodun’s wedding.
Lola went on to explain that none of her daughters know Biodun’s husband directly and that she only spoke to him once, when Biodun introduced him to her over the phone.
Her admission supports Biodun’s previous denial in which she said her husband doesn’t know any of Lola’s daughters and asked colleague Tosin to take down the misleading remark.
“I want to address the story going around since yesterday and to clear the air. The first time I ever spoke to Omoborty’s husband was when she introduced him to me on a phone call. I did not know him before that. None of my daughters know him personally. Biodun, aka Omoborty, did not snatch my daughter’s boyfriend. I attended the wedding. There is no way she would do that and I will still attend the wedding. Thank you and I hope this clarifies everything,” she said.
