VIDEO: ANGRY MOB VANDALISE TRUCK FOR CRUSHING MAN IN OSOGBO ACCIDENT
A commercial driver, whose identity is yet to be known was crushed by a truck in an accident in Osogbo, Osun State on Saturday.
It was gathered that the accident occurred at the old garage roundabout, Osogbo around 8am today.
An eyewitness, who claimed to have seen the accident from a close distance said the victim was rushed to Osun state teaching hospital for medical treatment.
According to the eyewitness, the policemen from Dugbe division, Osogbo, rescued the driver of the truck from being beaten to death by angry mob.
Some of the bystanders, however, attributed the accident to illegal conversion of the roundabout to loading bay by commercial drivers conveying passengers to Lagos.
As of the time of filing this report, the state Police Command spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola, could not be reached.
