MS DSF DEBUNKS REPORTS OF TOKE MAKINWA’S SECRET MARRIAGE TO PARTNER, FAROUK UMAR
Nollywood actress and media personality Dorcas Shola Fapson, also known as Ms. DSF, has clarified her claim that her colleague Toke Makinwa is secretly getting married to her longtime partner Farouk Umar.
On Sunday, reports surfaced that Makinwa and Umar were secretly married after pictures of them at what the actress claimed was her “thanksgiving” ceremony went viral.
Ms. DSF fueled the rumors by implying on social media that Makinwa and Umar were getting married.
Ms. DSF responded to the widely circulated rumor with a video message posted on her social media page, stating that her previous assertion was a “joke.”
She clarified that the occasion was the actress’ “thanksgiving” before her birthday rather than Makinwa and Umar’s marriage ceremony.
She said, “Bloggers please, I’m just joking. They [Toke Makinwa and Farouk Umar] are not getting married. Toke is just doing thanksgiving for her birthday.”
She captioned the video, “I play too much and bloggers eat sh*t too fast.”
Toke Makinwa was formerly married to Maje Ayida, a businessman. They got married in 2014 but their marriage ended in 2017.
