The 2024 Air Quality Index list has been made public by the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA).

Agege and Surulere were listed as the cities in the state with the most dangerous and extremely bad air quality, respectively, in the list that was made public on its verified X website on Tuesday.

Although the state’s air quality may not be at its best, LASEPA promised Lagos residents that it is making every effort to improve it.

With a score of 103% (hazardous), Agege’s air quality was below ideal for locals.

With 76.1 percent (extremely unhealthy), Surulere is next, followed by Mushin (47.3 percent) (unhealthy) and LAMATA Kosefe (46%).
