JUST IN: PRES. TINUBU ORDERS IMMEDIATE RELEASE OF MINORS FACING PROSECUTION

President Bola Tinubu has ordered the immediate release of all kids detained and charged in court for allegedly participating in the #EndBadGovernance demonstration without affecting the law.
The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction was also instructed by President Tinubu to look into the welfare of the children.
Mohammed Idris, Minister of Information and National Orientation, revealed this to State House reporters in Abuja.
According to the Minister, the President ordered an investigation into all law enforcement personnel involved in the children’s arrest, custody, and prosecution. Anyone found to be at fault will be subject to the proper disciplinary measures.
