LASTMA OFFICIAL SET ABLAZE BY LAWLESS BUS DRIVER, CONDUCTOR, HOODLUMS
A lawless bus driver, conductor, and thugs set a LASTMA official on fire on Tuesday after they were caught driving against the flow of traffic in Lagos.
However, the official had to be taken immediately to the hospital for medical attention.
According to the agency, @followlastma
“LASTMA Personnel Brutally Attacked While Discharging Their Duty
“On Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at approximately 9:55am, a Volkswagen T4 commercial driver known for frequently driving against traffic was apprehended by a LASTMA Patrol Team.
“The driver was stopped after being observed picking up and dropping off passengers at an unauthorized spot along the expressway near Ilasa, heading towards Mile2.
“During the incident, the driver and conductor, with the aid of nearby hoodlums, descended into a frenzy, pouring petrol on a LASTMA personnel and setting him ablaze.
“Consequently, the injured officer was promptly rushed to the hospital for urgent medical attention.”
