US ELECTION: ‘I FEEL LIKE I’M RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT’ – CARDI B
The American rapper Cardi B has stated that she is unable to control her emotions in the lead-up to the presidential election.
The Grammy winner revealed that she feels like she is running for president and has been anxious.
“I don’t know why I’m so nervous for tomorrow.
“I feel like I’m running for president,” she shared with her 36 million followers on X.
Cardi B, who previously supported the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee, spoke at Harris’ rally in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Friday.
Cardi B asserted during the event that Donald Trump, the Republican Party’s nominee and Harri’s primary opponent, was pushing anti-women ideologies.
“Donald Trump is a hustler who is trying to hustle women out of their rights and hustle Americans out of their money…He’s selling more than watches and sneakers. He’s selling bigotry, misogyny, division, chaos, and confusion,” she stated.
Later, the rapper refuted claims that she received payment to promote Kamala Harris using her X Twitter.
Cardi denied getting paid for attending Harris’ rally.
