After being unmarried for two years, Bimpe Akintunde married Yousuph O. Ganiyu, a man who had two wives, in a Nikai ceremony in June 2023. She revealed that her spouse had loved her for a long time before they ever met, and she felt incredibly fortunate to have met him.
In a letter to her husband back in May, the actress expressed her gratitude for his intentionality and mentioned how many men had told her what he had said but were unable to stick by it. She told their story of love, saying she had never met a man like him and that the day they met was a blessing.
Bimpe lavished him with praise during his May birthday celebration, reciting his contributions and blessings in her life. She wanted to have met him sooner and was grateful that he made her feel loved. She considered herself fortunate to be his wife and praised the day they first met.
In other developments, the Yoruba actress had sent her ex-boyfriends a bad message. She shared several pictures of herself carrying a gun from a movie scene and dedicated it to her ex-boyfriends, saying that it was for all the phony lovers she had encountered who she truly loved, supported, and showed genuine affection for. She praised her husband’s family and said she had married the proper man, while bitterly insulting them in Yoruba.
