One minor injury was reported, but no other casualties occurred.
In an official statement, Aliyu M. A., the Public Relations Officer (FFPRO) for the Jigawa Command, commended the rapid response and coordination of the firefighting team.
“The fire was contained and brought under control with minimal delay,” he stated. “Thankfully, there was no loss of life, and only one individual sustained minor injuries. We appreciate the cooperation from local residents and the village head, whose swift report allowed us to take prompt action.”
This accident underscores the importance of safety protocols when transporting hazardous materials.
“The situation could have escalated, but our team was prepared and well-equipped for this type of emergency,” added Aliyu.
