
JUST IN: INEC PRESENTS CERTIFICATES OF RETURN TO AIYEDATIWA, DEPUTY
Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the governor-elect of Ondo State, and Adelami Olayide, his deputy, have received certificates of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The Supervisory National Commissioner for Ondo State, Prof. Kunle Ajayi, presented the certificates in Abuja on Wednesday.
Four days have passed since INEC proclaimed Aiyedatiwa the victor of Saturday’s governorship election.
Aiyedatiwa, speaking on behalf of the All Progressives Congress, defeated 15 other contenders, including Peoples Democratic Party candidate Agboola Ajayi.
