VIDEO: ATIKU HOSTS PETER OBI IN ADAMAWA
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar recently hosted the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, at his residence in Adamawa State.
This was disclosed by Atiku in a video shared on X.com on Saturday.
His caption read, “It is breakfast time with my friend, #PeterObi, in the ‘land of beauty.”
In the video, the two politicians alongside others were seated together at a dining table, ready to have their meal.
This is not their first meeting after the 2023 election, as the two met earlier in May this year.
Obi had similarly visited the former Jigawa State Governor, Sule Lamido, and the former President of the Senate, Senator Bukola Saraki, at their homes in Abuja in May.
Obi’s visits were reported to be his first meeting with his former political allies after he defected from the PDP to LP in May 2022.
At the time, the Chief Spokesman of Obi’s Presidential Campaign Organisation, Yunusa Tanko, explained that the discussions during those meetings with the PDP bigwigs were focused on how to rescue the soul of Nigeria’ from the clutch of the ruling All Progressives Congress.
