Four robbery suspects have been taken into custody by Adamawa State Police Command operations.

The police classified the four suspects as belonging to loose groupings of young people known as Shila Boys in Adamawa State, claiming Wednesday morning that the operatives accomplished the accomplishment by raiding criminal hideouts.

The Shila Boys are notorious for carrying blades and robbing locals of their phones, money, and other valuables, frequently during the day.

The suspects were apprehended in Mubi, a significant economic nerve hub 194 kilometers north of Yola, the state capital, and the command claimed in a statement that offensive weapons were discovered on them.

The police statement, which was signed by SP Suleiman Nguroje, the state police public relations officer, stated that the four suspects, who were between the ages of 22 and 24, were apprehended from the Mubi South and Mubi North LGAs.
