I’M 50 TIMES BIGGER THAN ASAKE – BLAQBONEZ CLAIMS
The Grammy-nominated singer Asake is 50 times smaller than rapper Blaqbonez, whose real name is Emeka Akumefule. This assertion has caused debate.
The assertion was made in response to a re-discovered tweet from Asake, a budding artist at the time, requesting that Blaqbonez follow him back in 2019.
The tweet was retweeted by an X user going by the handle @thejacobsss, who said that ranking Asake higher than Blaqbonez is amusing.
Blaqbonez agreed with the admirer, asserting that he is, in fact, a far more prominent artist than Asake.
He added in jest how he sold O2 Arena in a minute.
He wrote: “Like people are funny. I’m 50x bigger. I sold out the O2 Arena in 1 minute; it took him longer,” Blaqbonez wrote.\
Evidence, however, indicates that Blaqbonez’s assertion is untrue.
The O2 Arena has sold out twice for Asake, but not for Blaqbonez, despite what he claims.
